THE LORD WHO DOES ALL THINGS WELL

We celebrate our 'unbounded admiration' for
the Lord who makes no distinction between
people, but makes the poor rich in faith,
the deaf hear, the lame walk and the dumb speak.

My Dear Friends,

I must begin by saying a huge thank you to the small group of volunteers who worked incredibly hard last Sunday to make our day of festival the success it was. We were a little quieter than earlier years, no doubt due to the children not being back in school, but even so there was a goodly crowd in church and our 1st Communion children looked amazing. So thank you, thank you to those who made it happen.

Today sees the start of our Stewardship Campaign. As I mentioned in the newsletter last weekend it has been some eight years or so since we last had such an initiative. Over the next three weeks we shall look very carefully indeed at our response to Christ's call to us to be Church here in south Ruislip! I would ask everyone to make 100% sure that they take home one of the introductory letters so that when the issue is addressed you will have had the opportunity to read and be prepared.

It is impossible for me to stress the importance of this campaign and I'd like finally to thank you, in advance, for your prayerful and practical support.

God Bless.

1st Reconciliation and 1st Holy Communion

Parents of children hoping to make their 1st Reconciliation and 1st Communion in 2012/2013 are asked to collect a registration form from the church porch and to return the completed application to the Presbytery this weekend. These forms are for children who will be in Year 3 next term.

THE APF BOXES

If you have handed in a Red Mission Box it has now been emptied and is available in the porch for your collection. Many thanks, to all of you for your kindness and generosity in supporting this important and vital aspect of the work of the Church. We will publish the full amount as soon as we have it!
