CHRIST INTERCEDING FOR US
Christ who 'opened his arms on the cross' is like Moses whose arms were raised in prayer for his people.  Today Christ asks us to joint him in continual prayer and never to lose heart.

My Dear Friends,

Next weekend the clocks go back and soon we'll be into the month of November when traditionally we remember in prayer all who have died. At every Mass in that month we will mention especially the Holy Souls. Please complete your list - these are available in the Church Porch - and let us have it as soon as you can.  It would be lovely that if you can make it to weekday Mass that you come and join in the prayers of your parish for our loved ones.

Fr. Paul

NOVEMBER DEAD LIST

November is the month devoted to prayer for the Holy Souls.  There are envelopes and prayer lists in the porch. Please return them with your offerings for these Masses to the Presbytery at your earliest convenience.

CONFIRMATION 2014

The Parish Confirmation programme starts in January 2014 with sessions on Monday evenings.  If you are in Year 9 or above and wish to join the programme, you are invited to write to Fr. Paul, briefly explaining your reasons for wishing to be confirmed.  Your letter should include your name, address, telephone number, parents email address, date of birth, where you attend school, which Mass on Sunday you normally attend and a passport-size photograph.  All letters of application must be in the Presbytery by Sunday 24th November at the latest.  Please mark the outside of the envelope "CONFIRMATION 2014"

JOURNEY IN FAITH

For adults among us who would like to catch up with Sacraments they have missed out on, and for those who might like to become members of the church.  On Tuesday 22nd October there will be an opportunity to find out more - with a short meeting in the Hall at 7.30 pm.

APPOINTMENTS

Fr. Paul will be available between the hours of 6 pm to 7 pm on Friday for school form signing or should you wish to speak to him about anything.  Any other times are by appointment only.
