My Dear Friends,

As always I would like to take this opportunity of thanking Fr Tim and Mgr John for coming over to our parish to celebrate the Masses for us. Without their generous support it would be quite impossible for me to get away from time to time.

The APF (Red Boxes) and last Sunday's collection has made it possible for us to send just under £1,000 to the missions: truly a wonderful amount. Thank you for your generosity. Your empty boxes may be collected from the table in the porch! If you handed in a box without a label, or you wish to become a regular contributor, please help yourself to a spare box.

Just a brief reminder about the talks for those wishing to learn more about the Catholic Faith. The first "get together" will be on Sunday 11th November at 3 pm in the Presbytery.

Finally, Thursday of this coming week is the Feast of All Saints, and as such it is a Holy day of Obligation. There will be two Masses on that day as there will be on All Souls Day (the next day). The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed for an hour before the evening Mass on Friday - a chance for us to spend time in prayer with our Lord remembering our loved ones who have gone to God.

God Bless.
