My Dear Friends,

There are many people for us to 'remember' during this month, but this weekend our thoughts turn to all those - of many nations and faiths who have died, and continue to die, as a result of warfare and violence. So let us use this weekend, with its focus on remembrance, to pray for peace, to pray for those who have died in war, and for those who continue to suffer as a result of man's inhumanity.

Once again The Posada will journey through the parish during Advent. The image will start its journey on the 1st Sunday of Advent. If you wish The Posada to spend a night in your home then now is the time to register by signing in the lists in the porch, they will be there until Sunday 18th of November.

This weekend we are also taking up one of the most important collections of the year; that for the Sick and Retired Priests. There are now some 89 retired priests in our diocese who are in need of our care and support. We have so much to thank them for and this fund, which is entirely dependent on your donations and generosity, is our way of showing our gratitude and love for them. THANK YOU for showing you care!!.

God Bless.
