THE ETERNAL PERFECTION OF ALL
WHOM CHRIST IS SANCTIFYING

We celebrate today the final consummation
at the end of time. Each Mass continues Christ's
work in the world and brings us nearer to the final

My Dear Friends,

On this coming Thursday there will be a special Mass of Requiem at the Cathedral, at 5.30 pm, to pray for the repose of the souls of all former Diocesan Clergy who have gone to their rest. The principal celebrant will be the Archbishop, who will be joined by the Auxiliary Bishops and many Priests of the diocese, and all are welcome to attend. Also this week we will be having our own Annual Mass of Remembrance. Further details of that Mass may be found below.

As mentioned in last weeks newsletter now is the time to sign up for The Posada, but perhaps you're asking yourself, what's it all about?

During the evenings leading up to Christmas Day, two statues of Joseph and Mary, with our Lady, the expectant mum, seated on a donkey, will travel around the parish visiting a different family every night.

The night Mary and Joseph 'stay' in your home provides a great opportunity to share together the true meaning of Christmas. Truly this is a wonderful way of preparing for the feast itself. There are lists in the porch - so sign up today.

God Bless.

CHURCH CLEANING

Please can you spare an hour a week to help with Church Cleaning, please do just come along at 8.30 on Saturday morning. Your help would be very much appreciated and I can promise you a very warm welcome.

ANNUAL MASS OF REMEMBRANCE

At 7.30 pm on Tuesday 20th we shall be having a special Mass of Remembrance. This special Mass, dedicated to the Holy Souls, gives us the opportunity to remember those we have loved and lost. There will be an opportunity during Mass to come forward and light a candle for them.
