My Dear Friends,

Once again I am indebted to Fr Tim Dean for helping us out during the last week whilst I have been away on the annual Canon Law Society Conference in Galway. It is as a result of his generosity that we were able to maintain the daily Mass here at St Greg's. Father Tim I am deeply grateful - thank you.

Many of you were very enthusiastic about my first visit to the Republic and your enthusiasm was well founded. The weather was excellent, the conference inspiring and the west of Ireland is very, very lovely. I am already looking forward to a speedy return!

Finally, next weekend Fr Evaristus, a priest of the Holy Ghost Fathers will be in residence at the presbytery. He will be here for the annual mission appeal of "the Spiritans."

Unfortunately I am away conducting a wedding abroad next weekend, so I do hope that a member of our parish family will be able to offer him some hospitality whilst he is here? Do speak to Gillian or myself about this important matter.

God Bless.

THE HOLY GHOST FATHERS

26th May 2013. The Holy Ghost Fathers who have a rich history of serving the poor and marginalized in many parts of the world will be visiting us next weekend. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to support their work.

ST SWITHUN WELLS SUMMER FAIR

The school Summer Fair will take place on Saturday 29th June this year. Make a note of the date in your diary today, so that you can come along and support this important parish event.
